THE WOMAN

Born in the early 1990s in Bordeaux, France, Célia Martin grew up surrounded by a deep love for cars - inspired by her father’s passion for off-road driving.

Some of her most vivid childhood memories are the thrilling rides through the forests of Montagne Noire en route to her grandparents’ home.

At just 10 years old, her father taught her how to drive, sparking a lifelong obsession with automobiles that would eventually lead her to the world of motorsport.

A Hidden Dream to Become a Racing Driver

Despite this early fascination, Célia kept her dream of becoming a race car driver to herself - knowing the financial barriers and the male-dominated nature of the sport.

She pursued a degree in law and a master’s in private wealth management, planning to live her passion as a Gentlewoman Driver - racing for pleasure rather than profession.

But the desire to compete never faded.

Nürburgring Nordschleife

In 2014, a spontaneous weekend trip to the Nürburgring Nordschleife changed everything.
Célia instantly fell in love with the legendary German racetrack and spent the next six months traveling from France to Germany every weekend to be close to the action.
By 2017, she made the bold decision to move to Germany permanently — driven by the goal of competing in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

Célia’s journey is marked by many firsts. She became the first French woman to work as a professional taxi driver on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, sharing the track’s thrill with passengers from around the world.
She also served as a prototype test driver for Jaguar Land Rover, proving her technical skill and precision behind the wheel.
From a quiet dream to international racing — this is where The Woman became The Racer.
